Typing practice

Touch typing from the home row to real paragraphs. No account needed, and nothing is locked.

Want to keep your progress?

No account, no email address, no password. Pick a name for your session and a PIN, and those two together bring it back.

Home row first

Every other key is found relative to the home row, so that is where it starts. Letters, then capitals, then numbers and punctuation, then real writing.

Accuracy before speed

A typist who learns to go fast with mistakes has learned to make mistakes fast. The goals ask for high accuracy and modest speed, in that order.

It shows which keys you miss

Not just a score: the actual characters your fingers keep getting wrong, so the next go has something to aim at.

Two ways to keep your progress.

A session keeps it with no account at all — a name and a PIN you choose, neither of which we store. An account keeps it against a named child, with the history a parent wants to see. Either way, the lessons are the same and nothing costs anything.
